This is step 3 of the Blockstream Satellite Kit setup guide.
The Pro Kit's satellite receiver (Novra S400) processes the signals received by your satellite antenna and outputs that data in a format that can be used by your Bitcoin node.
Pro Kit Receiver Setup
1.
Connect the coaxial cable from the LNB to the RF1 port on the back of the S400 unit.
2.
Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN 1 port on the back of the S400.
3.
Connect the AC adapter to the S400 and a power outlet.
4.
Connect the Ethernet cable from the S400 to your laptop’s Ethernet port or Ethernet adapter.
Tip: You can also connect the Ethernet cable from the S400 to your router and provide Bitcoin blockchain data to all the devices on your local network. However, this requires an advanced setup—we'll have a separate guide available for this soon!
