A SeedQR is a hand-drawn version of your recovery phrase in QR code format that can be scanned with the Jade Plus camera to temporarily load keys to the device. This allows Jade Plus to operate as a fully air-gapped stateless signer and may provide improvements in security and compatibility.
SeedQR Access Process

Ensure you have a SeedQR by following the air-gapped Jade setup instructions. If you've already set up your Jade Plus, you can create a SeedQR by turning on your device and selecting Options → Temporary Signer, then manually entering your 12 or 24 word recovery phrase. You will then be prompted to create a CompactSeedQR.
Note: CompactSeedQR is a variation of the standard SeedQR format that uses a more space-efficient encoding method, making it easier to hand-draw (or stamp into metal) and scan reliably.

Turn on Jade Plus and navigate to the Scan SeedQR entry point. If your device is initialized, you will find this option under QR Mode. Uninitialized Jades will see this option on the home screen.

After Jade Plus scans the SeedQR, your keys will be loaded to the device automatically and you may begin performing air-gapped operations.
