QR PIN Unlock is a fully air-gapped method to unlock your Jade Plus using only its built-in camera, or by attaching a JadeLink (Jade Plus only). This process allows you to keep all key material fully encrypted on Jade and accessible via PIN.
QR PIN Unlock
1.
Turn on Jade and select QR Mode, then choose QR PIN Unlock. If you haven't initialized your Jade Plus yet, follow the setup guide.

Visit the QR PIN Unlock companion page on your desktop or mobile device by scanning the QR code or entering the URL, then select Continue.
Tip: For faster access on subsequent logins, add the QR PIN Unlock page to your phone's Home Screen or Favorites folder so it is accessible with a single tap.

Enter your PIN on Jade Plus when prompted, then tap Done on the companion page.

Make sure to allow access to your desktop or mobile phone's camera if prompted, at which point your device's camera will turn on. Point the camera at Jade Plus and scan the animated QR code until the progress bar is full. When the companion page displays its own QR code, select the checkmark on Jade Plus.
Note: If you are having trouble scanning the QR code, you may want to choose Change camera selection to try a different lens or select Options on Jade Plus and set the QR Density to Low.
5.
Point the Jade Plus camera at the animated QR code displayed on the companion page until the progress bar is full.
6.
After scanning all QR code frames, your Jade Plus will unlock and be ready to perform air-gapped operations.
