At some point, you may need to restart your Blockstream Satellite Basic Kit for maintenance purposes, to test out a new configuration, to reboot the entire computer, or because something may have crashed. Thankfully, restarting a Basic Kit is easy and can be completed in a few steps.
Restart the Blockstream Satellite Utility
If you need to restart the Blockstream Satellite utility, it's only a matter of quitting the utility and restarting it.
1.
Stop blocksat-cli. In the terminal window you're running blocksat-cli in, simply press Ctrl + C. This will cause the application to shut down.
2.
Restart blocksat-cli. When you want to fire up your Basic Kit again, open the Terminal and enter the following.
blocksat-cli usb launch
Now you've successfully restarted the Blockstream Satellite utility!
Restart Bitcoin Satellite
Restarting the Bitcoin Satellite software is equally easy, in case you need to restart it to test a new configuration or you've rebooted your computer.
1.
Stop Bitcoin Satellite.
bitcoin-cli stop

Restart Bitcoin Satellite.
bitcoind --daemon
