A Wallet-Erase PIN, or a duress PIN, is an alternate PIN that you can enable which will automatically delete your recovery phrase from your Jade if entered. This feature is especially useful in the event of a physical threat, as you can provide this PIN to an attacker and your wallet will no longer be accessible via PIN. It will also appear as if your Jade simply experienced a failure by displaying the message "Internal Error". Warning: If you set a wallet-erase PIN and subsequently enter it upon login, there is no way to regain access to your funds except by restoring using your recovery phrase. Make sure you have a backup before proceeding. Setup Wallet-Erase PIN 1. Log in to your Blockstream Jade and select Settings, then Wallet-Erase PIN. 2. Read the warning message to understand that this PIN will erase your recovery phrase, meaning your funds will no longer be accessible using your Jade. You will need a recovery phrase backup to restore your wallet if this PIN is entered. Select I understand when you are ready. 3. Enter and confirm your desired Wallet-Erase PIN. You will then be shown your Wallet-Erase PIN where you will also have the option to Change or Disable it, if desired. 4. If your Wallet-Erase PIN is ever entered during login, an "Internal Message" error will be shown and Jade will return to the initialization process. You will then need to set up a new wallet or restore from your recovery phrase backup to use your Jade again.
