On AQUA, you can send and receive bitcoin and all Liquid assets using a single wallet. 1. On the home screen, tap Create New Wallet. Then tap the arrow in the bottom right corner of the introduction screen. 2. Agree to the Terms of Service, tap the checkbox, then tap Confirm. 3. Enable or Skip Face ID. You can update your Face ID settings anytime via the application menu. 4. Tap Back Up Now. If you'd prefer to write down your recovery phrase later, tap Maybe Later and skip to Step 8 of this guide (not recommended). 5. At the backup introduction screen, tap Start. Then carefully write down the 12 words of your recovery phrase using a pen and paper. Warning: Your recovery phrase is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your funds (for example if you lose or break your device). Blockstream never knows your recovery phrase and cannot help you restore the access to your wallet. To ensure you can always access your funds, it is therefore recommended you write down your recovery phrase as soon as you can do so safely. 6. Confirm you have recorded your recovery phrase accurately by selecting the correct words from the list. 7. Store your recovery phrase in a safe location and tap Done. 8. Your AQUA wallet is now set up and ready to use!
