If you are confident that you remember your PIN but it’s not working, you may have the wrong network or wallet selected, or you may be using the PIN on the wrong device. Follow the simple steps below before attempting to restore your wallet.
Note: If you have already entered the wrong PIN three times in a row, you will no longer be able to use your PIN to log in to your wallet until it is restored—you can skip this page and go straight to restoring your wallet.
1. Are You Trying to Access the Right Wallet?
Each type of wallet in your app can use a different PIN.
For mobile, check that you have selected the correct network from the login page. E.g. you should see Bitcoin selected if you are trying to log in to your Bitcoin wallet, or Liquid if you are trying to log in to your Liquid wallet.
For desktop, check that you have selected the correct wallet from the list on the left sidebar.
2. Does the PIN Belong to This Device?
If you are using the same wallet on multiple devices, your PIN may not be the same on each device. E.g. the PIN that you use to access your wallet on your iPhone could be different from the PIN that you use to access the same wallet on your desktop.
If the above checks do not resolve the problem with your PIN, you will need to restore your wallet using your 12 or 24 word recovery phrase.
