Tip: If you are confident that you remember your PIN but it’s not working, you may be trying to access the wrong wallet (Bitcoin/Liquid) or access the right wallet on the wrong device (you can access the same wallet from multiple devices using your mnemonic).
If you’ve forgotten your PIN, or:
- You’ve entered your PIN incorrectly three times
- Your wallet is not showing the PIN login option
You will need to restore your Bitcoin or Liquid wallet using your 24-word mnemonic backup.
Note: Unfortunately, Blockstream is not able to provide you with your PIN or mnemonic backup because we never have access to this data.
Why is the PIN Login Not Available?
If your wallet is not showing the PIN login option, then it means that your PIN has been reset. The most common reasons for this happening are someone entering the PIN incorrectly three times in a row or an error occurring during a software update.
The solution required is the same regardless of the cause: you must use your mnemonic backup to restore your wallet.
