In order to create a Native SegWit account, you will need to be using a Bitcoin or Liquid wallet with Singlesig as the security policy. SegWit accounts allow you to segregate your funds and receive on bech32 native SegWit addresses (-bc1 prefix). This account type ensures cheaper transactions when sending bitcoin, but not all services support bech32 addresses yet. Mobile 1. Open Blockstream Green and log in to your Singlesig Bitcoin wallet. 2. Tap the account section, then select Add New Account. 3. Select SegWit and enter a name for your account. 4. You will now see your newly created SegWit account on the Accounts page. Tap on this to begin using it. 5. Now when selecting Receive, a bech32 address will be generated and you can take advantage of lower fees when transacting. Note: Remember, not all services support bech32 addresses yet.
