Blockstream Jade supports generating child BIP39 recovery phrases using the BIP85 specification. A child recovery phrase is created from an index number and the wallet stored on Jade, allowing you to derive wallets from a parent or "master" wallet. Generate a Child Recovery Phrase 1. Unlock Blockstream Jade and select Options, then choose Wallet. 2. Select BIP85 Recovery Phrase and choose your desired recovery phrase length. 3. Use the jog-wheel to select your index number and click the center button when you are ready. You can later recreate the recovery phrase shown next using the recovery phrase stored on Jade and your chosen index number. Next, write down and confirm your recovery phrase then you have successfully created a child recovery phrase.
