Generate a Recovery Phrase With D8/D16/D16 Dice
You need three dice:
- One 8-sided die, called First
- Two 16-sided dice, called Second and Third
Each set of three rolls produces exactly one 11-bit word index, so this method needs one D8 roll and two D16 rolls per provisional word. Repeat the set 12 or 24 times, then follow the final-word procedure.
For each set of rolls, find the corresponding word in the table below.
The index is calculated as (First - 1) * 2^8 + (Second - 1) * 2^4 + (Third - 1).
